Ways to Make Money as a Content Creator

August 7, 2020

There are multiple Ways to Make Money as a Content Creator. I have a hustlers mentality and it’s always been my duty to find ways to make money.

Some of the easiest and effortless ways to make money include just being yourself and sharing with your audience!

The two best ways to Make Money as a Content Creator is through Affiliate Marketing and Brand Ambassadorship.

Affiliate marketing is really the easiest streams of income for me when it comes to making money each day. By definition it is when you promote another companies products or services and you make money/commission from others making purchases. I enjoy this because I shop a lot, and in this case when I share links via Instagram, Youtube or any social media platform I make money when people swipe up, use my links or promo codes.

The best way to become an affiliate is to check the website of the company that you may shop with a lot, and see if they have an affiliate program. Most times you’ll be able to find this at the bottom of the website. Once you find it, apply and wait to see what the next steps are. Most times you will need to create a profile and you will be able to generate custom links for the products you share.

There are also many Affiliate platforms who host affiliate marketing for thousands of businesses. The two that I use quite often are RewardStyle and ShopStyle. I am able to post photos of my looks and link where the items I am wearing are from and I can use these apps to share in my YouTube videos and on my Instagram stories.

RewardStyle and ShopStyle have an application process where they review and approve each applicant. It is easier to get approved through ShopStyle than it is with RewardStyle. With RewardStyle I had to be referred by a friend in order to be approved.  I would suggest checking them both out and applying, once you’re in the opportunity.

Brand Ambassadorship is another way that you can make money as a content creator. Most companies that are product based have ambassadorships, and they serve as the face of the brand. My top two brand ambassadorships have been with wig companies. It is the perfect fit because I am consistently in and out of protective styles. I am able to get new units and promote them via my social media. I make money through people using my links and promo codes. The process of becoming an ambassador for a brand is similar to being an Affiliate. Check the website of the brand or reach out via email.

There a few different ways to be paid as a Content Creator, these are just two ways. I share a lot of tips about influencer marketing on the blog! Make sure to check out Keys To Knowing Your Worth And Being Confident In Your Rates
