How I Grew My Pinterest Impressions over 5,000% in 1 Month

January 7, 2020

I created my Business Pinterest account a little less than 2 months ago and my growth on the platform within that time has been great. Over the course of a month and a half I had over 147K Impressions, and 75K Monthly viewers which is phenomenal with my account being brand spanking new.

How did I do it? I did tons of research via Youtube and Skillshare and to my benefit both were super helpful with my growth in such a short period of time.

Things to keep in mind while starting your Pinterest account:

  1. Be consistent. I noticed that I was on my Pinterest app more than I was on instagram and that let me know that I was dedicated to perfecting my Pinterest skills. The rule of thumb that I’ve learned is that you should re-pin and pin about 20+ pins a day to your boards. I do that if not more daily.
  2. Pin and Re-pin Quality pins. I always make sure that what I pin is relevant to my niche and brand. Be intentional about what you post. Keep your personal Pinterest if you want to pin random stuff not related to your business and brand. You will need to keep your content seamless.
  3. Find content from your blog or website that you can share on Pinterest and link back to your platforms. This will help to generate traffic. I went to all of my old blog posts that were relevant to my content on Pinterest and pinned them.
  4. Use apps like Canva to create beautiful Pinterest images for content sharing. It’s free and easy to use.
  5. Do keyword research and make sure to add hashtags to your pins. A great tool to use is the Pinterest Keyword Tool its free and can be downloaded via Chrome.
  6. Don’t focus on growing followers, focus on consistently pinning daily.
