Whew…. Boy did this year fly by, my God! So like many people I had a vision board for 2016 and I accomplished somethings that were on my board and some things that weren’t. But all in all it was a prosperous year. I grew a lot, learned a lot and I’m truly grateful for it all.
This year I planned on traveling more like I did in 2015… but I don’t think anything could top Dubai, Barcelona and Paris in one year. I did make it to Turks and Caicos for 24 hours with my family and that was a nice little break with some much needed sun and sand in between my toes.
I did a lot of domestic flying, visiting friends and family to D.C. And LA multiple times. Had some good food and created tons of memories I’ll never forget.
But boy oh boy… my 2017 Travel goals are on another level. I’ll be using every drop of my PTO and that’s a fact! First trip at this end of this month is ICELAND! Yay!
Moving on, career wise I accomplished a lot. My styling work was published in two magazines. I styled a handful of photo shoots and I even styled my first Fashion show! GO me! In my professional career I was promoted to HR Generalist & Team Lead so I know manage two HR specialists. I mean the growth was real this year.
Ive tried new foods, I’m eating healthier and I’m working out at least 3 times a week these days and I’ve been strong relationships with friends and family. What more can you ask for?!
Im in the process of finishing my vision board for 2017 and I couldn’t be more motivated and determined to accomplish every goal on my board. Put on your seat belt folks and take this journey with me as I move across the country and make my dreams of being a Celebrity Stylist a reality!
