Everyone knows my love for THE Erykah Badu. Word out on the Fashion Streets is that the former Givenchy campaign star will be styling Pyer Moss’s Fall 2016 collection. She will be teaming up with the brand’s designer Kerby Jean-Raymond for the show on February 13th. This runway show will definitely be a mixture of fashion, politics and music, a direct reflection of his Spring 2016 collection which incorporated and highlighted Police brutality and the Black Lives Matter movement. I am looking forward to Badu’s soulful touch to the collection. I haven’t made it to NYFW just yet but its on my vision board and I couldn’t be happier that my favorite artist will have her hand in a great production.
