Target is near and dear to me, that’s no secret and when they announced their upcoming Anniversary collection I was ecstatic. 20 years of Design Collaborations all summed up in one collection is pretty exciting for any Target lover. The line will release on September 14th. Just enough time for us to save up our coins for all the pieces we want. As of now I only really want like 3 items that I saw on the newly released Lookbook. There’s a few tips that you should keep in mind in order to be successful at shopping the Anniversary collection.
Tip 1- Use the Designer Partner Finder to track down what stores will carry each line. All stores stock and line offering will vary. So you want to be prepared and know what stores to visit on the arrival day.
Tip 2- Save NOW. We have roughly less than a month to save up for what we want, so tighten up!
Tip 3- Take a look at the Lookbook now so that you know what you want and how much it’ll cost you ahead of time. Maybe you’ll realize you don’t need anything at all which is totally fine too.
Tip 4- Try it on! If you have the luxury of going to the store to buy the collection, swing by the fitting room and try the items on. There is a return 14-day return policy for the Anniversary Collection and you don’t want to be stuck with excess items you can’t wear.
Tip 5- Pre-Order! Target will have the option to pre-order items on September 3rd, which is probably the route I will be going so I don’t have to deal with the hoopla that may occur in-store.
